The Center for External Affairs and Development consists of the Office of International Affairs and Communications and the Office of Community Partnership and Social Responsibility.
The Office of International Affairs and Communications supports study abroad programs, overseas training programs, and other aspects of international study. By offering students the chance to have direct contact with other cultures, the office aims to help students develop international perspectives and improve their language skills while nurturing their ability to contribute to a global society.
The Office of Community Partnership and Social Responsibility shares information on a variety of issues with the local community. By supporting volunteer activities and a range of other extra-curricular activities based on this information, we aim to nurture skills for coping with life in adult society and cultivate students equipped with a cosmopolitan spirit and a strong desire to serve society.
The Center for External Affairs and Development consists of the Office of International Affairs and Communications, which administers a wide range of study abroad programs, and the Office of Community Partnership and Social Responsibility, which carries out unique care initiatives,. The center is involved in a diverse and comprehensive array of activities through which it aims to achieve the Konan Women's University mission of cultivating students with a strong desire to serve society, equipped with grace and a cosmopolitan spirit. We support our students' can-do spirit through our involvement in activities in a variety of fields from local community-level projects to those affecting international society, and have a system that allows us to provide detailed follow up assistance. I look forward to seeing students use the valuable experience gained during their university career to assist their own personal growth at the same time as they contribute to the enrichment of society through a variety of activities.
